Scheduled concerts, lectures, plays, and ranger-led special events are held at Happy Days Lodge. The building was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1938 and 1939 as a day camp for Akron children. Note: No longer open as a visitor center. See Canal Visitor Center.
