The Medina County Chapter of the Ohio Horseman's Council, has a motto of "Horsemen Helping Horsemen." The Ohio Horseman's Council, started as a grass roots movement of horse enthusiasts, and its county chapters provide a network for communication among horsemen.
The Medina County Chapter is dedicated to promoting horseback riding in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The Chapter works closely with the National Park Service to maintain and build equestrian trails in the park. The Chapter volunteers help maintain over 50 miles of trails. These trails connect Cleveland Metroparks Brecksville Reservation to the Wetmore and Riding Run Bridle Trails of the National Park via the newly completed Valley Trail.
