Discover deep forested ravines, walk through a restored Ohio prairie with grasses over eight feet tall, or explore stream valleys. Brecksville Nature Center opened in 1939 after being constructed by the federally funded Works Progress Administration (WPA). It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Excellent examples of chestnut carpentry,carved leaves, wrought iron work, and native Berea sandstone grace the nature center. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.
